Advisory for discerning watch portfolios
Discreet · Strategic · Personal
Anyone who holds a substantial watch collection will, sooner or later, face strategic decisions. We support collectors with the valuation, reallocation and targeted sale of their holdings — with the discretion and expertise that a high-value collection demands.
A collection is not warehouse stock.
Anyone who has built a substantial watch collection over the years has done so for a reason — emotional as much as strategic. When circumstances, market conditions or collecting interests change, the situation calls for advice that goes beyond a quick purchase offer. We see it as our role to work alongside you to find the solution that fits your situation — whether that is the targeted sale of individual pieces, the restructuring of an entire portfolio, or simply a well-founded valuation of your holdings.
Four ways to move your holdings.
Holdings valuation
The market value of your collection — accurately assessed
Drawing on current auction and trade data, we prepare a written valuation of your holdings. On request, this can be broken down into liquidation value, market value and the sale proceeds realistically achievable within a defined timeframe.
Discreet purchase
A direct sale to Uhrinstinkt
Looking for a fast, anonymous solution? We purchase individual pieces or entire collections at a fair market price. Settlement within a few days, payment by bank transfer, and no public visibility of the transaction.
Consignment
A commission sale through our platform
For pieces with a high market value, a sale through our distribution channels is often the most rewarding route. You retain ownership until the sale is complete, while we handle the presentation, advise prospective buyers and manage the entire process. Terms are agreed transparently in advance.
Strategic restructuring
Realigning your holdings with intent
Collecting interests evolve. We support you in restructuring your holdings — for instance through trade-ins against sought-after references, the targeted acquisition of missing pieces, or consolidation around a few key timepieces.

Once you have made your decision, we handle the entire process. Transparent communication, fully insured logistics, payment on schedule and, on request, a closing record of every step.
When portfolio advice makes sense.
Liquidity needs
Capital required at short notice, without giving up the entire collection. We identify the pieces whose sale represents the smallest emotional or strategic loss.
A new direction
Your collecting interests have shifted. We help you scale back your existing holdings sensibly and channel the proceeds into building a new specialisation.
Generational transfer
Inheritances, gifts or early transfers of wealth. We value the holdings and accompany the division or sale with the sensitivity such matters require.
Market opportunity
Making deliberate use of periods of above-average market values — particularly for especially sought-after references. We assess the timing of a sale and the choice of channel together with you.
Consolidation
Deliberately keeping selected key pieces from a broad collection and converting the remainder into liquid assets. Ideal for collectors who wish to collect by quality rather than quantity.
Diversification
Spreading risk across several brands, eras or complications. We analyse your current allocation and develop a proposal for a more balanced distribution.
